• HavanaStreetview (HSV) is a content community dedicated to and inspired on Havana, inhabited by locals, Cubans and a great amount of sympathizers coming from any place of the world. It is a main principle —like every community so creates— to encourage exchange among customers, and among them and Havana.
  • Eight inner pages define contents in HSV. Some sections set aside for photography, Art and Design, Literature and Journalism, Architecture and Urbanism, Music and Audiovisual, which are the main structure of information. Each article or selected issue brings about some linked elements that come from each space within the site. This way, navigation is more appealing and wide-ranging, and at the same time, it brings about a true Havana experience.
  • Beyond its name, this project aims to summarize as much information as possible about the city and its culture in the same site. It is created mainly by Havana locals who have dedicated themselves to this subject matter, who committed themselves to the liveliness of a real/wonderful city, freezing and burning, cultural core and controversial. We intend to offer our community a sense of living Havana, to approach each other on a open and spontaneous exchange.
  • HSV is also an attempt to enrich our existence on the web from the creation of a community that redefines us, that presents different issues beyond tropical vacations or political arguments. It is a space for letting us shine and collaborate. It is a community to have a sense that nobody has gone or stayed, that linked empathies, efforts, opinions and get all energies to push on the same direction. Our goal is to sum up attendances and exchanges up to strengthen a necessary improvement space.
  • HSV’s social function is very important for the founders’ crew. It is a priority to collaborate with professionals within Cuba, to create new opportunities of working exchange. We plan to employ and generate jobs, to encourage small business, individual initiative and alternative spaces.
  • HSV is a self-financed project with no profit motive in mind, directed and managed by its working group and does not respond to commercial, political, ideological or any other kind of interests but the ones presented on these pages. Any affiliation and/or association to our project is entirely voluntary and assumes the acceptance of its parameters as well as the absolute respect to them.
  • People with concerns about political or news topics related to Havana city or Cuba in general, should consider that we are not dealing with political issues and we are not a news organization. There are other sites available on politics and news that you can visit.
